Last night, about 40 Bay City Baptist Church teens brought holiday cheer to three Green Bay nursing homes through good ole fashioned Christmas Caroling. Our local Green Bay churches can help brighten this season for our elderly. This annual activity is always well-attended and is one of our teens’ favorites. However, it appeared that the nursing home residents enjoyed it just as much as our teens! The smiles that lit up their faces were priceless and that brought our teens much joy.
We also hand-delivered Christmas cards made by the Bay City Christian School elementary students. A special part of the evening was visiting with long time church member, and current resident of Tender Hearts nursing home, Doc Birr.
After the caroling we went back to the church and had a Christmas dinner catered by Fazoli’s, along with a reminder of what Christmas is really all about. What a great night. Thanks to all who helped to make this event so enjoyable.
