Bay City Christian School Helps Green Bay Cancer Patients, is on TV Tonight

Ministering to others is a key aspect of Bay City Baptist Church AND Bay City Christian School, our quality, private school here in Green Bay. Each year the eighth grade class participates in a service project. This year, our compassionate students made blankets for the patients at the Bellin Cancer Center in Green Bay. 24 blankets to be exact!

News teams from two stations covered the story and those stories aired on February 5 and 6. Here’s the link to the written report:

Here’s a link to the BCCS Facebook page where you can find a couple of short videos about their work:

Today, our students personally delivered the blankets to the Cancer Center. Channels 5 & 26 will present a short video segment tonight. When asked how they felt about the news coverage that would be there, the students said that it shouldn’t be about them, but rather about the patients who will benefit from a little piece of love and lots of prayers.

Thank you, eighth grade class. Good work!
