Bay City Christian School Students Volunteer for Special Olympics

High school students from Bay City Christian School will be volunteering at the Special Olympics Hometown Games on Saturday. This is an event that has been well attended by the students in the past, and this year is no exception! One student volunteer said “I love helping with Special Olympics! It is so rewarding to see the smiles on the faces of the athletes!”

Community service, and service within the church, is highly emphasized at Bay City Christian School. 1 Peter 4:10 states, “As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”  Jesus came not to be served, but to serve. It is that example that we are to follow as well.

As Jesus said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35).
